I’ve been told this, I get this. It makes sense, I swear. But this saying makes it seem like life is a gentle car ride with the window open, hair blowing in the breeze, sun up sunglasses on and with your hand riding the wind and a smile on your face.

No. Life is getting on a rollercoaster, being all excited, waiting for the count down, only to realize you don’t have your seat belt on and before you can do anything the ride takes off and you’re 100% fucked.
